Privacy policy

Your images

Images you open in EveryImage are read from your device, processed in your browser, and saved back by you. They are never transmitted to this site or to any third party, because the site has no server-side image processing and no upload endpoint.

Files are held in memory for the duration of your session only. They are not written to local storage, IndexedDB, cookies or any cache. Closing or refreshing the tab discards them permanently.

You can verify this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the network panel, and process a batch. No request carrying image data will appear.

What is stored on your device

Local storage is used for a small number of preferences, which never leave your browser:

• your colour theme choice
• your output format and quality preference
• presets you have saved, and which presets you used recently
• your grid or list view preference

Clearing your browser’s site data removes all of it. None of it identifies you.

Analytics

If analytics are enabled on this deployment, they record page views and a small number of anonymous events: that a batch was started, how many images it contained, the output format and quality chosen, and that an export happened. Filenames, image content, image dimensions of your specific files and any metadata are never included, because they are never sent.

Analytics can be disabled entirely by the site operator, and are switched off when no analytics identifier is configured. Browser-level tracking protection and ad blockers will also prevent them.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own. If analytics are enabled, the analytics provider may set its own.

Third parties

No image data is shared with anyone, because none is collected. If advertising is enabled on this deployment, ad providers operate under their own privacy policies and are limited to page-level context — they have no access to your files.

Children

The service is not directed at children and collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes

Material changes to this policy will be reflected in the date at the top of the page.
